WELCOME TO

Hathersage

Eating out

For breakfast & brunch:

The Hathersage Social Club is on Station Road just next to the Little John pub. The food and hospitality is excellent: don't be put off by the name - it's not a social club!

It is very popular, so it is worth booking in advance.

For sandwiches & cake:

Coleman's Deli is on the right on the high street as you walk down the hill from Topcroft. They serve good coffee and light lunches.

For curry:

There are two Indian restaurants in Hathersage: Maazi is on the right hand side of the high street as you walk down from Topcroft, and Sangams which is on the left just before the Spar/petrol station.

Both are equally delicious - although Maazi is perhaps a little more formal. Both do takeaway as well as dining-in.

Maazi: 01433 650725

For tapas & drinks:

The Bankhouse is a wine bar/restaurant sat in the old Natwest bank on the high street - on the right as you walk down the hill from Topcroft.

It serves food either in the bar on the ground floor, or in the more formal restaurant on the first floor. The mediterranean cuisine is delicious and there's a classy, friendly atmosphere if you're just stopping by for drinks!

Shops

There are two mini supermarkets in the village. There is Spar at the petrol station on the high street, and OneStop on Station Road.

The nearest large supermarket is in Sheffield which is approximately 8 miles away. There is a large Tesco superstore on Abbeydale Road which you can get to in about 15 minutes without having to go through the city center.

Sheffield city center has all of the usual high street brands, and a large John Lewis.
